Eligible candidates should have working knowledge of the following:

• General knowledge of gas handling equipment including regulators, flow controllers, needle valves, vacuum pumps, compression and pipe fittings.
• Experience in analysis of samples by gas chromatographic methods
• Working knowledge of statistical data handling techniques used in the calibration of analytical equipment.
• Laboratory Data Acquisition Systems
• Strong computer skills including working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet usage.

Lab Tech duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitor supplies and equipment required for analysis
• Calibrate and Maintain Instruments
• Perform Instrumental and Non-Instrumental Test/Procedures
• Prepare, Standardize and Use Solutions
• Use effectively and understand all Laboratory Application Software
• Make appropriate entries into instrument logs, control charts, calibration records, laboratory worksheets, and any other media
• Analyze Data and Prepare Professional Reports of all Results
